They will be located next to Verizon within the food court.
Camille’s Sidewalk Cafe is a must for everyone to try, with their variety of paninis, wraps, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. The loyal program will resume in both locations that allow repeat customers to reap a variety of benefits.
Mike Miller is the co-owner of the new bar, Let it Fly, which is opening in Sioux Falls on July 13th. The bar features over 75 televisions, a multitude of bars, and an appearance by Mike Miller himself.
“It looks great. We’re really excited about what we’re seeing,” company president David Rodriquez said. “The building is 99 percent ready and will be 100 percent ready by the end of the weekend.”
The bar is located in the old Turks & Caicos building, and is meant to provide the upscale bar experience. Inside the building is also a casino that was converted from the old dining area. In addition, the patio area will be open starting the first of operation.
The patio area provides a welcoming and inviting feel, that makes people feel comfortable and relaxed. The shuffle board area has been converted to a game space with bags, Jenga, and other games to enjoy the evening. For drinking, there are over 15 different taps, which includes a few local brews.
Mike Miller will be available to sign autographs for the big part of July 13th opening day.

Presented by the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society.
Benoit’s recent “Chicago Takeover” featured the Louisiana-based musician performing for six evenings in June at the famed City Winery. “Tab Benoit residency helps usher in the return of live music in Chicago,” writes the Chicago Sun-Times, who also interviewed Benoit. Read the entire interview, here. Benoit continues to add new dates to the tour, including four consecutive nights at the Big Blues Bender in Las Vegas, September 9-12 (updated itinerary below).
Benoit and guitarist Samantha Fish performed together last November at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium for a live concert streamed worldwide. “This is an artist whose playing speaks to you as much as his lyrics do,” wrote Music Connection magazine, reviewing Benoit’s Ryman show set. “What Tab lacked in theatrics he made up for with a warm and disarming stage presence and heartfelt playing.”
Benoit, who throughout his thirty-plus career has always been known for his environmental activism, performed two nights in his hometown of Houma at the memorable 16th Annual Voice of the Wetlands Festival. He also appears prominently in the IMax motion picture Hurricane on the Bayou, a documentary of Hurricane Katrina’s effects and a call to protect and restore the Wetlands, and produced a CD to help restore that state’s Coastal Wetlands. Benoit was inducted into the Louisiana Folklife Center Hall of Master Folk Artists in the Spring of 2020.
Whiskey Bayou Records is a partnership between Benoit and his partner and manager, Rueben Williams. The label has thus far released albums by such established and up-and-coming artists as Eric McFadden, JP Soars, Alastair Greene, Damon Fowler, Eric Johanson, Jeff McCarty, and Dash Rip Rock.

Raven Industries has been a huge part of the Sioux Falls area for over 60 years; now the business is being bought by CNH Industrial, an agriculture tech company. A few departments within Raven Industries include Aerostar, Engineered Films and Applied Technology. These departments and their work in ag tech resulted in the $2.1 billion dollar buyout.
“Anytime a company is acquired you’re always a little bit nervous, what does that mean? Does that mean that jobs are going to go away, does that mean that the company is going to go away?” Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken said.
“I think this has the potential to be a real good thing for Sioux Falls and will bring even more jobs, more white collar, high paying jobs to our community than even exist right now,” TenHaken said. “Raven has diversified our economy in terms of the types of jobs that they’ve brought. We have a lot of mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, a lot of high end jobs that Raven has brought to the community as their ag tech platform has evolved.”
Raven currently employs 900 people in the United States, with its main headquarters staying in Sioux Falls since the 60s, and TenHaken hopes this partnership will continue into the future.
