SERVICE: Childcare & Education

$600 Hiring Bonus*

HOURS: Full-time, salaried; hours vary between 6:30 AM and 6 PM with 1 hour lunch break daily

RESPONSIBILITIES: The program supervisor provides leadership, support, and supervision for the childcare programs, staff, students, and families served by LSS Childcare & Education Services. The position coaches staff to improved quality by reviewing lesson plans, performing classroom evaluations, and ensuring developmentally appropriate childcare practices.

Help create staff schedules, find substitutes, and assist in classrooms when needed. Provide excellent customer service internally (e.g. staff and co-workers) and externally (e.g. parents and community members). Ensure compliance with accreditation and licensing standards. Facilitate strong partnerships with church partners, parents and our parent advisory group. Purchase supplies for classrooms and ensure efficient use of materials. Assist in coordinating special events for the childcare programs.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field or four years of experience required. Experience educating in a childcare setting. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills are preferred. Must successfully complete all agency background checks. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain approved driver status.

SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications
